The Atrium City Hall Foundation has organized the Christmas Sing-ALong on Sunday evening, December 15 in the Atrium City Hall. Under the inspiring leadership of Gregor Bak, over 300 choir members and the 1.100 visitors, together with guest artists Francis van Broekhuizen, the Uzory Ensemble, Theaterfanfare Kunst voor het Volk led by Sarif Tribou and the 2.200 online visitors via the Free Livestream it was a Christmas Concert that wil not be forgotten!
Program Chistmas-Sing-ALong 2024
The one-off Christmas choir, the more than 1.100 visitors in the Atrium City Hall and all those who stay at home and enjoy and sing along to traditional worldly Christmas carols via the livestream provided by Cue Creative under the inspiring leadership of conductor and pianist Gregor Bak, once again with a guest appearance by ‘dramatic soprano’ and TV personality Francis van Broekhuizen. There will be guest performances by Music Ensemble Uzory from Ukraine and Theaterfanfare Kunst voor het Volk from The Hague, led by conductor Sarif Tribou.

Donation Music Ensemble Uzory & Tarwekamp
The Christmas-Sing-ALong is one of the bright spots in these dark days for which the Atrium Foundation has worked hard for all year long to realize this great Christmas Concert financially and production-wise. Not only is darkness hanging over the city The Hague due to the explosion at the Tarwekamp at this moment, but also still over the city of Mykolaiv in the south of Ukraine, where Music Ensemble Uzory comes from. Donation pots were placed during the Christmas-Sing-Along. A total of 2.250 euros was raised from all choir members and visitors for Mykolaiv in Ukraine and Lichtpuntjes van Mariahoeve in The Hague.

The Christmas Sing-ALong is based on an idea by Herbert Boerendonk. Atrium City Hall has been organizing the Christmas Sing-ALong in the Atrium of the City Hall in The Hague since 2015. Since the opening of the City Hall in 1995, this foundation has been the organization behind the many activities that are always organized in the Atrium of the City Hall.
