From March 1 until March 26 the portrait series ‘Remember the women‘ and ‘The Hague women‘ can be admired in the Atrium City Hall as part of The Hague Women’s Days 2025. The first series features fifteen women who played a key role in the emancipation movement in the Netherlands. The second series focuses on women from The Hague who, through their special work and the impact they make, make a difference in various sectors, from culture and sports to welfare and business. Both exhibitions reflect the strength, versatility and influence of women in (The Hague) society.
The Hague Women’s Days 2025
From March 1 to 8, in the week of International Women’s Day, the municipality of The Hague will reflect on the emancipation and position of women around the world. Together with women’s organizations and cultural anchors, they organize activities in the Hofstad. They bring women together in The Hague and beyond to celebrate their achievements and address important issues affecting women worldwide. Women can inspire each other and learn from each other during various workshops, inspiration sessions, performances and the exhibitions in the Atrium City Hall.
