Discover the possibilities of The Hague’s rooftops at the Uit je dak exhibition from September 8 until September 21 in the Atrium City Hall.

The Hague full? No, there is still plenty of space on our roofs in The Hague. How much? You can compare it to the entire dune area from Hoek van Holland to Scheveningen! Or 16 times the size of Zuiderpark! In this exhibition and during the Uit je dak rooftopdays on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September, you can see how the space on roofs can be used smartly. Because roofs can contribute to a healthy and pleasant city to live in. At the exhibition in the Atrium, you can walk on a “mini roof” yourself, but on the ground floor.

Visit the participating roofs
Four roofs that are not normally accessible can be viewed at Uit je dak. On 13 and 14 September from 11:00 to 16:00. Visit De EnergieKas, the new testing ground for art, sustainability and science. In addition to guided tours, there will be yoga, music and poetry. Admire De Bijenkorf like never before during a guided tour. Please note: advance registration is required. Sijthoff Offices surprises as a sustainably renovated building with an attractive green roof garden. The Ministry of the Navy is a relaxed roof terrace that serves as a meeting place for young people and students. On weekends, it is the place to be for breakdancers and a DJ. Uit je dak is an initiative of the municipality of The Hague and is being organised for the second time by dakenteam.  With this festival, the municipality wants to draw attention to the sea of unused space that exists on the roofs of The Hague.

N.B.! The Atrium City Hall is closed on Sunday September 14.
