The photo exhibition I Feel Slovenia. I Feel Culture. can be seen in the Atrium of the City Hall until November 22. Slovenia celebrated its 30th anniversary this year and holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Located where the Alpine, Mediterranean, and Pannonian worlds meet, Slovenia is a country with diverse landscapes and a unique mixture of Slavic, Germanic and Latin cultures. With its snowy mountain tops up north, its green capital of Ljubljana in the center, the charming coastal towns down south, the mysterious Karst and picturesque valleys in the west and its long lines of vineyards in the east, Slovenia offers a combination of architectural styles from different eras, its rich cultural heritage and its delicious regional cuisines accompanied by exceptional wines. Diversity is what defines Slovenia: as a country, as a society and as its people. Throughout the centuries, the culture and language have always been at the heart of their national identity.

This exhibition is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in The Hague. It shows 18 of the 38 photo’s from the global photographic exhibition in 2017, which was organized the Public Communications Office of the Republic of Slovenia in collaboration with Slovenia Press Photo and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
