This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Netherlands. Relations between Korea and the Netherlands have continued to develop closely in various fields, including politics, economy, and culture. Now, preparing for the next 60 years of friendship, they want to leap forward to a new level of cooperation.
To do this, the countries need to understand each other better. Of course, it would be best to meet face to face in order to understand each other. However, now that it is difficult to visit Korea due to the influence of the epidemic, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands is organizing this photo exhibition from December 8 until December 17, 2021 ‘The seasons of Korea; Into the poetic landscapes’ at the Atrium of the City Hall of The Hague to provide opportunities to meet Korea in the Netherlands.
In this exhibition, visitors can appreciate the beautiful scenery of spring, summer, autumn and winter in Korea, as well as Korean poetry that sings about the seasons and the nature of Korea. Documentaries, made by the Korean Embassy, commemorating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and the Netherlands are also on display. The embassy hopes that everyone will feel much closer to Korea through photos of Korea’s nature and people in this exhibition.

All photos shown in this exhibition are property of 2021 Korea Tourism Photo Contest and Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea.
